Good News on the Environment: A Talk with Jan Mitchell In-Person

Community members are invited to attend a program with local resident Janet Mitchell ib Thursday, June 16 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Northfield Public Library, 210 Washington Street.

Your concerns about pollution, habit loss, climate change and diminished biodiversity are well-founded.  But there are many productive efforts under way to address these issues.  If you need an infusion of hope, join this session to learn about various strategies to protect water quality, regenerate soil health, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduce the cost of heating and cooling buildings and generally demonstrate the ingenuity people are bringing to these problems.  Hope is energizing, and we have reasons to be hopeful.

This is going to be an informative program that talks about local regional, national and international efforts.
