Land Acknowledgement with Meredith McCoy of Carleton College Online
The City of Northfield is considering the adoption of a Land Acknowledgement Statement. The City Human Rights Commission invites the community to join in a presentation by Professor Meredith McCoy regarding the history of, need for, and development of Land Acknowledgement Statements. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.
Pre-registration is required. Details for the virtual session will be provided upon registration. A follow-up email will be delivered 1 day ahead of the event as a reminder. Included in the follow-up email will be instructions on how to join the presentation by phone.
