Dancing and Learning: Latin Culture Baila

This interactive Latin American dance workshop, which incorporate dance and music with historical and cultural information, brings to life the rich heritage of Latin America. Participants in this workshop will learn the dance steps of Salsa, Merengue, cumbia and other dances based on Latin rhythms, and realize the similarities and differences of each dance. In addition, students will discover the European and African roots of these cultures and how they have been woven to reflect the different ethnicities. The primary goal is to introduce students of all backgrounds to the rich cultural and artistic Latin American heritage by learning Latin rhythms. 

Anyone, no partner or experience necessary can learn this Latin dance class. Wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to learn and have fun.
