Author Visit: Chris Norbury

EVERYTHING YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT WRITING A NOVEL …BUT WERE AFRAID TO ASK.

Chris Norbury is the award-winning author of the suspense-thriller Castle Danger, will speak at the Northfield Public Library on Monday, October 21 at 7:00pm   He will share  his experiences of being a self-published author during the Internet Age.  He will answer questions and will sell his two novels.

His new novel, Straight River, is the prequel to Castle Danger and the first book of a planned trilogy. The stories feature Matt Lanier, a southern Minnesota farm-kid-turned-professional-musician whose comfortable middle-class world is turned upside down by a conspiracy of powerful, ambitious, violent men.

Norbury grew up in the Twin Cities and earned a B.S. in Music Education at the University of Minnesota. He has written for several websites as a freelance writer, and his essays on wilderness canoeing have been published in the Boundary Waters Journal. He lives in southern Minnesota with his wife and golf clubs. Connect with him at www.chrisnorbury.com
