Backyard Bird Feeding and information session about the 2017 National Audubon Christmas Bird Feeder Count
Join us on Saturday December 9th from 10:00 – 12:00 in the Northfield Public Library Bunday Room for what promises to be a wonderful, informative program.
Deb White of Paddington’s Seed and Feed in Faribault will talk about birds that reside in Minnesota the year around, an explanation of the different types of bird feeders, types of bird seed, backyard habit for attracting birds and more.
Gene Bauer will share information about how you, your friends and family, can participate in the 118th National Audubon Christmas Bird Feeder Count. The count area is a fifteen mile radius and includes Northfield, Faribault and locales in-between. Participating in the annual bird feeder count program is easy, fun, and scientifically important.
Coffee and donuts will be served at this family friendly event.
