The Way of the Monarch Puppet Show Bilingual - Show de títeres"El Camino de la Monarca" Bilingüe
El Camino del Monarca sigue la espectacular metamorfosis y migración de la mariposa monarca. Esta querida criatura se transforma de huevo a larva, a oruga, a crisálida, a mariposa y, finalmente, a viajera internacional. El espectáculo de narración se presenta en varias maletas, utilizando marionetas de mano y de varilla creadas a partir de materiales reciclados. Después del espectáculo, Laurie está encantada de responder preguntas y comentarios del público.
Laurie Witzkowski es una artista de performance y amante de la naturaleza. Ha estado creando teatro, música, marionetas y rituales, tanto en inglés como en español, en espacios convencionales y no convencionales a lo largo del mundo durante cuarenta años.

Este programa tendrá lugar en la Biblioteca Oasis localizada en el Centro de Recursos Comunitarios (NCRC),1651 Jefferson Parkway. Este evento es gratuito y abierto al público para asistir.
The Way of the Monarch follows the spectacular metamorphosis and migration of the monarch butterfly. This beloved creature transforms from egg to larva to caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly to international traveler. The storytelling show is performed in several suitcases, using hand and rod puppets created from recycled materials. After the show, Laurie is happy to field questions and comments from the audience.
Laurie Witzkowski is a performing artist and lover of Nature. She has been creating theater, music, puppetry, and ritual in both English and Spanish, at venues conventional and non throughout the world for forty years.
This event is part of Children's Day / Book Day.
This program will be held in the Library Oasis at the Northfield Community Resource Center (NCRC), 1651 Jefferson Parkway. This event is free and open to the public to attend.
