PRIDE: Storytime Classics by Maurice Sendak and more In-Person
Maurice Sendak, Tomie de Paola, Arnold Lobel, and Margaret Wise Brown are well known for writing books that have captivated generations of young readers, and show no signs of stopping. Less widely known is that all were members of the LGBTQ+ community. We'll share some of their most classic stories and have a "wild rumpus" mini-dance party after storytime. Geared to kids aged 3 to 6 yrs and their caregivers, but all are welcome.
