Community Sing-In with St. Olaf In-Person

Sing-Ins invite members of the community to come together in song, featuring selections from the Justice Choir Songbook and more. Sing-ins celebrates the power of collective music-making to foster connection, build community, and inspire action. We'll spend 45 minutes to an hour singing together, lead by students from St. Olaf.

"Music and Social Justice" is an experiential course at St. Olaf that explores the ways music has been used to inspire, support, and amplify movements for social change. Through historical study, critical listening, and hands-on projects like the sing-ins, students investigate how artists, activists, and communities harness music as a tool for connection and action.
