Altar Comunitario del Día de los Muertos - Day of the Dead Community Altar
We invite you to visit and contribute your own ofrenda to the altar on view at the Library from October 28 to November 2, 2024.
Every year, a central component of the Día de los Muertos celebration is the community altar, where we share ofrenda, offerings, and come together to recognize and joyfully honor the lives of loved ones who are no longer with us.
The Day of the Dead celebration stems from pre-Columbian times in Mexico and Latin America to honor and remember the dead.
Te invitamos a visitar y contribuir con tu propia ofrenda al altar que se encuentra en la Biblioteca del 28 de octubre al 2 de noviembre de 2024.
Cada año, un componente central de la celebración del Día de los Muertos es el altar comunitario, donde compartimos ofrendas y nos reunimos para reconocer y honrar con alegría la vida de los seres queridos que ya no están con nosotros.
La celebración del Día de Muertos tiene su origen en la época precolombina en México y América Latina para honrar y recordar a los muertos.
