NPL Film Club: The 400 Blows In-Person

NPL Film Club is a space for community members to share the world of cinema and engage in various discussions. Once a month members are invited to attend a discussion about all things movie held in the library Bunday room.

The movie is watched prior to attending using the browser-based online streaming service Kanopy, which is free for at home use by library patrons. If you have questions about setting up a Kanopy account, please reach out.

For December we will be discussing François Truffaut's "The 400 Blows", a film about a young Parisian boy Antoine who comes from a difficult home setting. With that given, he spends his days with his best friend Rene in hopes of a better life. When one of their schemes goes awry, Antoine ends up in trouble with the law, leading to even more conflicts with unsympathetic authority figures.We hope to see you there!
