Poetry Double Feature: Scott Lowery & Leslie Schultz In-Person
Poets Scott Lowery (Milwaukee, WI) and Leslie Schultz (Northfield, MN) are teaming up for a shared reading at the Northfield Public Library on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, starting at 6:30 p.m. As they take turns at the mic, their poems will be in conversation with each other on a range of topics: small town landscapes, sonnets, visual art, climate anxiety, farm animals.
Scott is taking some Midwest road trips with his new book, Mutual Life, featuring poems from everyday life against a backdrop of tumultuous times. On the home front, Leslie’s next book, Geranium Lake: Poems on Art and Art-Making, is forthcoming this summer.
