Jennifer Stohl Powell has been the legal director at the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota (ILCM) since April 2019.  ILCM is a nonprofit agency that provides immigration legal assistance to low-income immigrants and refugees in Minnesota.  Jennifer has handled a wide range of immigration cases with a focus on cases for victims of domestic violence and violent crime.  She previously worked at Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS) for over 20 years and supervised SMRLS’ immigration and farm worker unit for 13 years.  She is a graduate of Carleton College, the University of Minnesota Law School, and she holds a Master of Arts degree in nonprofit management from Hamline University.
