Northfield Library Contemporary Women Writers Book Group In-Person
For August we will be reading The Great Alone by Kristan Hannah
Set in 1974 Ernt, a former Vietnam POW suffering from PTSD decides to move his family from Seattle to Alaska to a homestead left to him by a buddy who died in the war. Daughter, Lenora, 13, and the rest of the family are not prepared to live in the cold and isolation of Alaska.

The Northfield Library Contemporary Women Writers Book Group meets eleven times a year, January through November.
We meet at the Northfield Public Library in the Bunday Meeting Room.
